Qualia Review -Is it as Good as it Says?

Spread the love

When I first came across Qualia I was just scanning the internet learning all I could about Nootropics. I was sucking up piles Qualia Step One and Step 2. Qualia review

of information so put this Stack in the back of my mind when I could do my own Qualia Review. I think I kept it there because somewhere I read that it is nicknamed ‘the God pill‘.

Now, much later I decided to try it and give it my review. First, I’ll Tell you that Qualia is pretty expensive, but that is because it really is a good product and a premium on at that.

After doing my research I discovered this to be a very extensive stack made up of 42 Ingredients that have all been scientifically researched. This formula with this amount of diverse ingredients makes Qualia designed optimal cognitive and nervous system function.

One question I always ask myself first is ‘Is it safe to take? With that, I decided to get these answers straight from their website.

Is it Safe to Take?

Science

They choose all of their ingredients on the strong empirical basis of their safety.

All our ingredients are chosen based on the strong empirical basis of their safety. What this really means is that they are chosen from experience and the history of use of the ingredients taking into account several kinds of research, and over 40+ years of international research on nootropic stack formulation.

Sourcing

They use only the highest quality ingredients. Many of these ingredients come from patented sources and are considered best in class. (e.g. Bioperine piperine, pTeroPure, pterostilbene)

Primary Testing

All of their ingredients are rigorously tested to make sure they are all in proper form and hold the potency they require. All the ingredients, as well as their finished product, are chemically analyzed to make sure confirm identity, purity, contaminants.

Form

All our nutraceuticals are in the most biologically active form for the purpose that we intend them. (i.e., methylated, acetylated, phosphorylated, L-form, D-form, etc.). The form of the nutrient makes orders of magnitude difference, which is a category we’ll never compromise on, and also is responsible for the difference in cost.

Purity

All of their products are tested against certain specifications and must meet the National quality standards according to purity.

Potency

All our dietary ingredients are refined to achieve the highest possible potency and bioavailability basis for their safety. All our herbs and botanicals are standardized for the purity of active ingredients.”

Secondary Testing

Not only do they batch test all of the raw materials that they get, but they also randomly pull market ready bottles to verify the formulation in the capsules.

R&D Process

Here’s what they had to say

In addition to our manufacturing lab, we have a research & development lab where we produce and test dozens of iterations of our nootropic formulations. We’ve had over 2 years of internal testing demonstrating safety and reliability. We have consulted dozens of doctors, researchers, and formulators during the development process.”

What’s Actually in Qualia?

Nootropic Compounds

These ingredients are powerful chemicals affecting receptor sites, membrane structures and synaptic enzymes.

They include Uridine Monophosphate Hordenine HCL, Noopept, phenylethylamine, Phosphatidylserine, Vinpocetine, Huperzine A, Theobromine, DHEA, and the one called “Pure Energy” (Pterostilbene bound to caffeine).

Adaptogen Extracts

Herbal adaptogens concentrating active compounds while maintaining complex synergistic co-factors – supporting Adrenal/ HPA regulation, Long Term Potentiation, AMPK activation, neurogenesis, catecholamine production, tissue regeneration, and many regulatory functions.

Now that’s complicated, but it simply means the plant extracts boost your cognitive ability in one way or another.

Ingredients include Bacopa monnieri (55% bacosides), Mucuna pruriens (98% L-Dopa), Ginkgo biloba (24% glycosides, 6% terpene lactones), Coleus forskohlin (20% forskolin), artichoke extract (5% cynarin), Rhodiola rosea (3% rosavins, 1% salidrosides), Lion’s Mane (30% polysaccharides), and Gynostemma pentaphyllum extract.

Choline Donors

Acetylcholine is a neurotransmitter that controls your neuro-motor connection. They boost your acetylcholine supply so your brain can communicate more efficiently with your body.

Ingredients include Centrophenoxine, Citicoline, and Alpha GPC.

Amino Acids

Amino acids are natural building blocks for the neurotransmitters that govern cognitive function. These ingredients match the brain’s increased demand from our nootropics.

Ingredients: Acetyl L-Carnitine, N-Acetyl Tyrosine, DL-Phenylalanine, Taurine, and L-Theanine.

Neuro-Vitamins

Neuro-Vitamins are vitamins and minerals and other nutrients such as the ones listed here. Qualia has included these vitamins and minerals that are specifically designed to cross that difficult barrier called the blood-brain barrier

Ingredients: Vitamin B1 (as Benfotiamine), Vitamin B3 (as Niacinamide), Vitamin B5 (as Calcium Pantothenate), Vitamin B6 (as Pyridoxal-5-phosphate), Vitamin B12 (as Methylcobalamin), Vitamin C (as ascorbic acid), and Vitamin D3 (as microencapsulated cholecalciferol).

Neuro-Anti-Inflammatories and Antioxidants

These ingredients are there to reduce oxidation in the brain, Antioxidants help to protect cells from damage which is caused by reactive oxygen species (ROS) and therefore free radicals. Both of these are unstable molecules which cause damage to cell structures. Some believe this can help clear up “brain fog”.

Ingredients: BioPQQ, Quercetin, Curcumin, Algal DHA, Green Tea Extract (98% polyphenols, 45% EGCG), and Bioperine.

 My Experience

Step 1

I was still skeptical while I opened the bottle and had a look inside, but so much hype around this product made me really want to see if I could reap the benefits so many people talk about so it was on to step one.

In about a half an hour to 45 minutes, I started to feel really motivated to get things done that I wasn’t so motivated to do. I also felt just ‘better’. Hard to describe it other than that, but I liked it.

My morning begins really with a trip to the gym. Now I do Crossfit so low motivation, lack of energy will have you depressed after one class. This visit was going to be good, but instead, it was really good. I was focused and energized throughout my gym and indeed throughout the day. Just after one day, I wanted to tell people about it.

That was just day one and things only got better. They did plateau after a week but at a high plateau. I continued to be in a great mood, to be energized daily, and more motivated that I can remember.

Step 2

As I held the bottle to start step 2 I certainly was not skeptical as when I held the bottle before step 1. I was excited to move on.

My ‘feeling better’ or an overall feeling of well-being continued and actually improved even more. I had less than half the stress I normally carry around.

My motivation was even higher and any ‘brain fog’ that I use to have was gone.

Now that the Neurohacker Collective has come out with Qualia Focus I look forward to trying it out.  You can read my Qualia Focus review here.

Qualia User Reviews

Qualoia review - user reviewsthis is the most effective cognitive enhancement supplement I have ever tried.

This is the only product that enhances every aspect of cognitive function without decreasing functions of any other areas.

DEFINITELY a 5-star product!

This is my third bottle and I LOVE the original formula of Qualia. It makes me focused, smart, and on my game. It doesn’t affect my sleep or make me feel jittery whatsoever. Nothing like that. It just makes me efficient and focused; my memory is sharper, and my creativity is at its best when I take it. Friends of mine who’ve tried it have had the same experience. Can’t recommend it enough. I am hoping they don’t discontinue the original formula, now that they have Qualia Mind, which is different.

Delivers exactly what the product describes. A gentle glow wakefulness throughout the day, without any kind of edginess or come down. Removes mental fog even when physically fatigued.

Also, their customer service team is incredibly fast and efficient. Highly recommend.

Qualia review

Conclusion

Qualia is pretty comprehensive for sure and as far as I know is the most comprehensive nootropic blend on the market today.

Just look at the list of ingredients that have been tested to be effective for what they have been included for. They improve your cognitive health and mental abilities.

There have been no recorded side effects.

In my opinion, Qualia is in a league of its own.

  1. This sounds like a really excellent product and you have certainly given a very detailed review of Qualia

Here in New Zealand I haven’t heard of this product so will take a look on amazon

Do they ship it over here? and I know some places there are laws against this type of thing

Would be good to know 🙂 Thank you

  2. Hi thanks for sharing this very high quality product . I was quite surprised to read it acts like a kind of brain booster to improve brain to body functionality. I personally have not heard of anything similar on the market, do you know if there are other brands that claim to do the same as this supplement and if so, are they a better or the same price? Thanks, Kenny

    • Qualia is one of the highest priced ones on the market and it’s because of the 42 high quality ingredients.   O other Nootropic blend I know of has that many great ingredients.  That said, there are others that can give you what you want for less cost.  Onnit Alpha Brain Review

  3. There are so many of these products on the market today. It is becoming increasingly difficult to determine if one is better than the other because they all seem to use a slightly different measuring process for their products.

I find that your explanation of Qualia is enough to put it at the top of my list. Why? Because I get to see the ingredients with an explanation of the main ones, and I also get a personal review from a user who can confirm the claims of the product with a real life test.

The final step for me is to try the product, make sure that it works for me and then I can get on with life.

  4. Hi Stew. Thanks for the review on Qualia. I have not heard of this product before but reading about it here, it seems to have a lot of benefits and the fact that you yourself have had success, ie lots more energy, speaks for itself. I do have a few questions: What is a typical supply for that amount of money? one month, 2 months? Is it as beneficial for women as well as men? Any difference? What about the age of the person taking it. Would it be as beneficial say to a person of 20 compared to a person of 65 or older? Thanks again!

    • ok that’s a lot of good questions.

First off, the bottle usually lasts about a month if you take it as prescribed on the label.

There is no research that I have read that indicates men or women Benefit more or less so I would say we all benefit the same when basing it on gender.

Age will only factor into it if there is any age related disease preventing the effect.

  5. Hi

Thank you for this very detailed and informative review on Qualia.

This product appears to have a lot of benefits and so many valuable ingredients.

The Neuro-Anti Inflammatory and Antiocidants is a really good benefit and as you mentioned this is really good for helping to clear up a foggy brain or “Brain fog”.

It always amazes me how much damage free radicals can cause in the body, do having a product that will help to reduce these free radicals is a bonus.

I will be looking into getting this product and giving a serious try.

    Thank you

    Jennifer

  6. Hi Stew,

Thanks for the through review! I like most of the nootropics, they really seem to help with the effects of age on our brains. this is a particular interesting product because of the group of amino acids included. one concern would be taking these supplements for extended periods.

Do you have any studies on the long term use, and how they might affect us over long periods of time? I like the improvement in cognitive ability they give us, but it makes me wonder if that is good or not?

This is a product that is a bit new to me, so I would like to understand it a little better. Thanks for your information.

    Chas
