Other studies on human participants were conducted. One consisted of 56 men and women , the other used only men . Both of these studies showed that curcumin effectively reduced symptoms of depression.
We know that inflammation in acute instances is beneficial as it helps your body fight foreign bodies and also plays a major role in repairing the damage. If we didn’t have this acute inflammation bacteria and other things could easily take over in our bodies and kill us. Where inflammation becomes a problem is when it becomes chronic and attacks the body’s own tissues.
This is an area where there is plenty of research completed and it is one very important area.
